Teacher's day off

Every year, Mano Amiga holds a Teacher’s day off to thank our teachers for going above and beyond in making a difference in the lives of our students. This is also a great opportunity for our partners to get to know our students personally and experience a day in the shoes of our teachers.

This year was another fantastic day of learning. The students spent the day learning yoga, hip hop, graffiti, reading, arts and crafts. We would like to thank all the volunteers who made this day happen.

Volunteers for the event include Status Magazine, Urban Ashram Manila led by JP Abinuman-Cox, Atty. Lezel de Villa from the Senate of the Philippines, Atty. Jeamie Salvatierra, Czyka Tumaliuan, Abby Dalusong, Kath San Juan, Bea Bermundo, Victoria Herrera, Dee Jae Paeste, Julia Sniegowski, Kristine Catipon, Phil, Barry Ambrosio, Carla Concio and Mia Jordan of Middleway Productions, the Mommy Amigas Mrs. Wima Huang, Mrs. Tintin Reichert, Mrs. Mandee Lim and Mano Amiga president Jun Alvendia.
